Questions,answered

The short version of how Resonade treats your music, your rights and your wallet

01

What does Resonade do?

You upload a track (MP3, WAV or M4A, up to 15 MB), Resonade detects its key, tempo and chord progression, shows you an honest audio-to-MIDI conversion of what it heard, and then composes eight original MIDI melody ideas in the same vibe — each one downloadable as a standard .mid file.

02

Is the generated MIDI a copy of my upload?

No. The conversion preview shows what the analysis heard, but every generated take is composed note-by-note: it keeps your reference's rhythm, feel and harmonic character with freshly derived pitches. The output is original and royalty-free — safe to use and release in your own productions.

03

Which DAWs does Resonade work with?

All of them. Downloads are standard MIDI (.mid) files, so they drop straight into FL Studio, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Cubase, Studio One, Bitwig, Pro Tools, Reaper and any other DAW or hardware that reads MIDI.

04

What happens to the audio I upload?

Your audio is analyzed in memory for key, chords and melodic character, then discarded — it is never stored, shared or used to train anything. Temporary files are deleted as soon as processing finishes.

05

How much does it cost?

One credit generates one track: your upload is analyzed and all eight MIDI takes are composed, with every preview, edit and .mid download of that run included. You start with 5 free credits, and you can top up with one-time credit packs — no subscription.

06

Can I edit the MIDI before downloading it?

Yes. Every conversion and take opens in a built-in piano-roll editor in the FL Studio / Ableton idiom — draw, move and stretch notes, snap to the detected scale, quantize to quarter notes without losing the groove, and your edits feed back into freshly regenerated takes.
